Isla Lin Myles is an artist currently starting her second year at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.
Isla has spent a lifetime as an artist, having expressed her creative energy on media as small as a 1 x 1cm square to illustrate a portrait, to capturing larger-than-life landscapes in the vertical panorama series that is part of this exhibition: Creatures and Habitats.
From the northern most points of her Scottish origins, the Orkney Islands, to the tropical earthiness of the Bintan Islands, Isla is inspired by vastly contrasting environments and the creatures that inhabit them.
Equally comfortable in the digital and traditional media domains, Isla enjoys the viscosity of paint and the versatility of software.
Creatures and Habitats captures some of her latest commissions concepts and beloved expressions of bucolic life.
