Our art narrative had a short span to bloom and burgeon, where it started with traditional woodcut prints and modern art in the 1950s, the same decade Singapore’s first art gallery emerged. Since then, we have transitioned quickly to our prevailing style while still holding onto traditional forms of art – leaving us a short but elaborate journey to remember.
This exhibition is an archival comprising of posters from previous exhibitions and relics from past performances and art pieces. Viewers are encouraged to fill these gaps in their memory with the past.
